Barbãr fully reflects the expertise and long track record of the Brasserie Lefebvre brewers. The hints of malt and honey cannot fail to please. Barbãr is still brewed with the water from the artesian springs of Quenast, a small village to the south of Brussels famed for the quality and originality of its beers. The secret behind this harmonic brew is well guarded. We find an original mixture of barley, hops and honey, carefully selected by the Master Brewer. After refermentation in the bottle these ingredients come into their own, and are best appreciated when served at icy temperatures (around 5°C). Barbãr’s freshness is truly remarkable.
